About Celebrate the Journey
About Celebrate the Journey
…a place to find hope and healing…
Emotional and spiritual growth is not something that God designed for us to do alone. Celebrate the Journey is a way for us to work together as we experience growth and healing. Come and check out this support and recovery program offered by Community Christian Church. We meet Tuesday nights in the Icon Theatre of the Yellow Box Campus in Naperville. Click here for directions to the church.
- Celebrate the Journey is a safe place, where what is said in the room, stays in the room. Confidentiality is the most important thing we offer. Our ground rules are available on the blog here. We welcome anyone and everyone, regardless of where you are on your spiritual or recovery journey. Everyone has parts of their lives that need healing from past hurts or current hang-ups.
- Come by 6:45 for coffee and snacks. This is the time to connect and greet old and new friends. A book table is available with books and information.
- Large Group begins at 7:00, this is where we gather to celebrate God’s hope and healing in our lives through worship an testimony. Large group is where we get to decompress for the day. We start with some music, then we get either a teaching or testimony as an inspiration for healing. Communion is offered at the table by the door. Someone is always available for prayer if something is weighing heavy on your heart.
- We break up into our Small Groups from 7:30 - 8:55. We connect with others in small groups for a time of sharing, healing, acceptance and community. All groups are confidential. Click here for current small group offerings.
Child Care
- Child care is available at $3 per child. Ages toddler - 5th grade.
About our Leaders
- Group leaders are trained volunteers who are continuing in their own healing and recovery. Having been motivated by their own experience with God and healing, they desire to share their story and create a safe place for others to experience God’s healing in community. Leaders receive on-going training and coaching as they continue to grow in their leadership and facilitation skills.
Please feel free to bring your questions or just talk to any of the leaders (they can be seen with name-tags on bright yellow lanyards,) or you can also email us celebratethejourney@gmail.com.
- Our Director
Diane Dassing is the Director of Support and Recovery at Naperville Celebrate the Journey. You can contact her at 630-388-5142 or email dianedassing@communitychristian.org

This is a fantastic representation of CTJ, I love it. I hope that it is attached to a good search engine and lots of people can find this great place and hope and healing.
